Have you used this product before?  Does it cause any irritation?  You want to make sure any product you use on your face does not cause an adverse reaction.  You may want to test a small patch of your skin to make sure.

There are a lot of other products out there specifically formulated to treat dry skin caused by acne scars like Bio-oil scar treatment.  It is pretty much trial and error to find the right moisturizer or ointment for you.  A dermatologist could give you the best suggestions on this.
