Q: I need help with sores on my chin

Hi there!  I am a 29 y/o female with a chronic issue with my skin.  I had great skin all through my teenage years and early 20's.  When I was 24 I had surgery for endometriosis and was put on Seasonale (birth control).  I don't know if that triggered what is happening to me or if something else is causing it.  I get sores on my chin just below the crease.  They itch, burn, and hurt very badly.  They seem to blister...and are filled with some sort of liquid.  The crust has a honey sort of color.  It takes forever for them to go away.  When they occure the lymph node under my chin and on the sides of my throat swell like golf balls and are very hard and sensitive.  I have been to several Dr's and have been told something different every time.  One said it was cold sores, one said hormones, one said infected hair follicles.  Any ideas?  I no longer have health insurance, and I do not know what to do.  I got one of these 3 weeks ago.  It is going away, however now I have sores under my skin all over my chin.  This is so embarrassing and is making me very depressed.  Please help!

I am experiencing that same symptoms, without the enlarged Lymph nodes.  I have a cluster of blisters, in and below the crease of my chin.  They are painful and have honey colored liquid.  I have had them 2 times before.  They eventually do away, but it takes weeks.  If you find out what this might be, let me know.

Try Paulas Choice skin care and acne products. That is the only thing I can use to keep mind under control. I have been told that mine are hormonal cystic acne. Cystic is the problem, instead of a normal zit, they are red, swollen and very painful. I found Paula Choice and haave used it faithfully for a couple of years now and I hardly ever get any now except when I am under a lot of stress. On Paulas Choice website you can get a lot of information on different skin issues and how different acne products work. All of this started when I stopped taking birth control.
