Hello Joe
It would be impossible for anyone here to tell you what is causing your rash. I did write an article you may want to read: What to Do If You Have an Unexplained Rash. I am wondering if you have been out in the heat or sun. Sometimes you can get a heat rash or a rash caused by being sensitive to sunlight. Have you been outdoors and exposed to any plants, weeds, insects, or animals? Are you allergic to anything? Are you using any new soaps or detergents? Do you have any other symptoms like fever, chills, etc.? Is the rash spreading?
My best suggestion is to seek the guidance of your doctor or dermatologist. Even if someone did know what is causing your rash...your doctor is the person who would be able to prescribe something to help you.
Thank you for your question. I hope the itch stops soon.
