Hey guys. I'm also from Arkansas and have been experiencing what sounds like a similar rash for the last two weeks. I'm a 26 year old female. Last year I went to the lake where I spent the entire day in the water. I developed a terrible bacterial infection and went on antibiotics for two months straight until symptoms from that were relieved. This summer I again went to the lake for a day and spent yet another day lounging in the water. The BI returned after that weekend and again I'm on antibiotics. I noticed last year when going on Flagyl and Clindamycin that I developed clear raised bumps on my hands and forearms. They went away after other symptoms of BI went away.   This year I have develped a more sever rash which started on my chest, but has now spread up my neck and specifically on the back of my thighs just below my buttocks. It's painful to shave my legs b/c apparently there's bumps on my shins as well. Doctors believe that the rash was an allergic reaction to the antibiotics that I'm currently on. It intensifies greatly post workout/sweat sessions. I've noticed that putting antibiotic ointment on areas tends to help appearance of bumps and makes skin smoother. I guess I'll know more once i finish this round of antibiotics if it truly is an allergic reaction, but I'm afraid that the results are simply from the bacteria placed in our environment. My best suggestion is to start pro-biotics/multistrains (abt $25-$32.00 @ your local health food store) and build a better immune system to help fight against these infections.   Good luck to all, I'll update in a week or so when I'm off meds. Cheers!
