I have had the same issue ging on since winter, on one calf. It started as an itchy shin, that I have had for years in the winter. But as the calf stopped itching the calf looked like it had poison Ivy (that I have never been allergic to) and now has turned into an small itchy bumps that are the worst at night. I keep meaning to go to the doctor, but then it fools me into thinking it is getting better. And yes, I live in Virginia.
