Hi, I've been looking for an answer too since the same scenario (itching, little tiny bumps on upper legs, stomach area and arm pits and some on my back) for the last three months I first thought it was caused by the heat. So I waited until the itching sensation was unbearable. Then I went to the first dermatologist (Dr Rebecca Lambert, Naples, Fl) and she diagnossed a supposed skin reaction to a dye in a new t-shirt. She prescribed some medications (clobetasol was one of them) and it worked until the medication cycle finished. Right afterI took the last pill I had prescribe, I got the reaction rigt back. Went to 2 different doctors after the first one and none of them were capable of providing an accurate diagnose of the situation. Reading through the web took me to the conclusion that tis is a skin reaction to something. Something in the environment triggers this condition. So I started to cut down on products I ingested every day. Even changed laundry soap and bath soap. Finally I concluded that I (out of the blue) developed an allergic reaction to milk protein. So as soon as I stopped ingesting any milkproducts, I was almost completely fine. The only thing is that I have just a slight remains of my last reaction. Hopefully sjust the milk or maybe something else. But since I am taking no milk or dairy products I have been fine. My conclusion is that dermatolgy Drs are not the answer for this. You have to go to an allergies specialist and get an allergy test done. Good luck to you all andhopethis information helps.
