I have had this on-going problem for a few years. But since moving to Florida, I am more affected with this itchiness and small pin-point scabs suddenly appearing either on my legs, arms, and shoulders.  Not realizing, I find myself scratching, then the area bleeds.  Next thing I know the scabs get larger and even more itchy.  I only had a touch of this when I lived in a  northern state.  I have found, heat definitely aggrivates this.  I went to the Determatologist last year.  She took several samples and one did come back as squamis cell carcinoma.  She removed the area using a cartorization type procedure.  That was on my left ankle.  She never did tell me what the other break-outs were caused by and gave me a cream prescription.  It didn't do one thing to help after refilling it twice. I have been on a continual search to find  the cause and a cure.  After looking at some pictures on the internet, I believe what I have may be a form of adult impetigo which is highly contageous.  Since I come into contact with people every day, many from overseas, I could have picked this skin condition this way.  I just don't know...Only guessing.  Today, I decided to do further research on how to treat this condition because it has become worse on the inside of my right elbow area and left outside upper arm.  I found an article that said a ten minute bleach bath using 1 cup of chlorox to bath water once a day.  And to follow up with Bactroban & Bactrim.  I am going to give this a try to see if I get any results.  I've read many articles that say hot water and heat aggrivate the condition and to take cool showers/baths; never hot.  This makes sense to me.  I am so exhausted dealing with this ugly skin condition.  As a child I did have excema and remember my mother bathing me in oatmeal skin baths and then putting on a thick cream to stop the itching.  I'm getting tired of wearing long sleeves when it's 90 degrees outside.
