PLEASE DON'T STRATCH!!!  IT MAKES IT WORSE.  I thought something had bit me. That was not the case. These raised marks come up suddenly. I went to the doctor and she told me, I don't know. You are must be allergic to something.   I was prescibed steriods and benedryl (excuse the spelling). I bought ointment cream totaling over $100.00. GUESS WHAT HELPED ME......... Apply a hot compress. Get a clean white washcloth, run the water hot as your skin can stand it. Sueeze the water out and apply the hot wash cloth directly on the itch. It will itch some more, DO NOT STRATCH IT. If you do this rhe swelling will go down and the itch will slowly disappear.   Now this works for me. What works for me, may not necessarily work for you. It dosen't hurt to try a natural remedy.  However, I still do not know what causes these outbreaks. All I know for sure is, when you stratch it...it makes it worse.   Let me know
