I started out with this rash only on my wrists. Showed up a month ago. I live in new york so was not out gardening because of the cold weather...not allergic to poison ivy anyway. A week later was on my wrists and ankles. A few days ago started spreading like crazy. Up my shins, then my calves, then up to my butt, at the same time spreading from my wrists up my forearms. Couple spots on my shoulder, one in my arm pit and one on my stomach. They appear as flesh colored but once I start itching them they immediately turn red & open up. They are not oozy with puss or anything. They bleed a little when I itch them which can not be helped because these bumps are the itchiest thing I have ever experienced in life...it's torture. I can't sleep at all. Went to doc yesterday and they said razor burn or poison ivy...come on...bunch of f'in morons. The prednisone helped the itch in about half hour and I am applying betamethasone cream. Helps but need it every three hours and its just disguising the itch the rash is not going away...Pretty scary...W.T.F is goin on!!!
