I am not sure if I had the same thing but it sounds pretty similar. I had a skin condition that was mainly on my arms and legs. I went to many doctors to try and figure out what the problem was and come up with nothing. Finally some time later we figured out that our water softner had a really old filter in it and was clogged! After we fixed these problems my skin got so much better. Eventually we turned the softner off completely because we learned that some people are just sensitive to the salt and chemicals and im guessing that why I reacte and my room mates did not. My skin continues to get better : ) hope that helps!!!
