I may have the answer to the itchy bumpy rashes on the arms, wrists, under arms, behind the legs, neck and on the ankles. For example if the rash is on your wrist, turn on the bathroom water facet with warm water and let the warm water flow over the wrist. Slowly turn on the hot water valve more and more until you get a sensation that feels as if you are scratching the itch. When the sensation goes away then turn up the hot water more and you will feel the soothing scatching sensation feeling again. Do this until you cannnot feel the sensation anymore or the water gets so hot you can't stand it anymore. When your done be sure not to scatch it with your anything especialy your nails. just blot it dry with a clean towel or paper towel, The area will be very red since your skin was scalded by the hot water. The itching sensation will be gone and within a few hours you will notice that the rash area may seem to have a slight dry scabing and the rash will be less red then before you did the scalding. After the scalding you may put on some ointment which will help the rash speed up the healing process. I will not recommend an ointment since I am not a Doctor but there are many over the counter ointments that the pharmisists will recommend. The scalding alone will stop the itching and make it go away but I find that the ointment speeds up the healing process. Do the scalding 2 to three times a day unless your skin is too sensitive. You may also use a blow dryer but it is very hard to control the amount of heat to the rash to keep it at a constant temperature but it does give you that same sensation ot scratching that itch without breaking the skin. If the hot water does not give the sensation of itching the rash then this method is not for you and should stick with only ointments. Please be careful not to burn yourself with the hot water and this method is to be used at your own risk and I am not responsible for anyone who uses this method. Thanks Steve.
