I am a 47 y/o male in FL as I write this on Jan 14, 2011.  There seems to be a few different strains here.  Some who get it only in the summer (not me).  Some who get it in the winter (like me).  Some who get it near the joints (not me) . Some describe it as painful (not me).  Most have mentioned being outdoors (yes), eating wheat (always have) or consuming splenda (possibly, but doubtful).  Here's my story.    I get these bug bite-like pimples that spread and get inflamated when scratched.  They itch like crazy, especially at night.  I have tried taking an oatmeal bath which made me scratch like crazy.  It burned and felt great at the same time.  It starts on my shins and forearms, then I get it on the top of my thighs.  When it gets bad, I get it in my torso, neck, shoulders and back.  I never got it on my face, feet or hands.    The skin looks dried out, patchy and somewhat flaky.  It looks like eczema or psoriasis, or scabies, but it is not (I had scabies once, so I know the difference).  Nothing helps.  Even after it goes away, there is a redness that gets left behind.  It comes back every winter.  I have eaten the same foods, used the same detergents, etc for years.  Why has this just begun in the last three years?  How long has everyone else been dealing with this?    It seems weird that so many people can have the same symptoms and no one knows what it is.  Is it possible that it has something to do with the chem trails that are being sprayed to break up the clouds? Maybe I'm reaching, but I need to know what this is; soon!
