I have a burn on the inside of my forearm that I got from a stove. It is red and the skin is starting to peel back but there are no blisters

Hello Gibby

I am sorry to be late in answering this.  How is your burn today?  Did it eventually blister?

One myth about burns is to put butter on them.  Please don't ever do this.

In researching your question there are things you can do at home to treat a minor burn including:

1.  Soothe it with an over the counter aloe cream product.

2.  You can also try Solarcaine to numb it.

3.  Covering the burn with a gauze pad so that it can heal.

Remember to also never pop the blisters.

I hope you are feeling better by this time.  Take care.
