ring worm like rash but it feels hard and it's under the skin

My son has ring worm like rashes on his arm that is hard and is under the skin. It doesn't itch, it doesn't hurt. it's not red or blistery. He does have eczema and asthma. I have never seen his skin like that.

pityarasis rosea.  Google that and see what you think.  My daughters had what I thought was ringworm.  They went to 2 quick clincs, then 1 of them went to a MD, because my MOM=) kept telling me it was ringworm.   It was pityarais in all 3 diagnosis.  It's a virus that causes a rash like ringworm.   The cause isn't known.  It lasts for about 6-8 weeks.  It's often thought it's not contagious but it MAY be gotten by 2 people in the same household.  Good luck^
