Hello daddyman
I am sorry you got burned in the sun. Remember to use your sunscreen each time you are exposed to the sun and cover up as best as you can to prevent burns and sun damage.
Here is a good article about how to avoid sunburns this summer.
Sunburns can be extremely itchy and it makes it difficult to sleep.
I wrote an article on 10 Home Remedies for Sunburn which may be helpful for you now. Several suggestions to try are using aloe vera gel, Aveeno oatmeal baths, or soaking in a cool bath with teag bags. You may want to ask your doctor if Benadryl may help as well.
Hope you feel better soon. Thank you for your question.
