Symptoms Of Scleroderma

Researchers in Japan have found that statin therapy may help
relieve symptoms of systemic scleroderma, a disfiguring disease
that affects the skin and, in severe cases, the internal organs.
Fourteen women were given Lipitor over the course of a 12-week
study, and results show that the women's symptoms improved while
they were taking the statin, and then returned when the drug was
discontinued.
