New Psoriasis Drug Shows Promise in Trial

Drugmaker Celgene Corp. is reporting that its new drug to treat psoriasis has shown promise in a new mid-stage clinical trial. The oral drug, called apremilast, significantly reduced symptoms of the skin condition in the trial. If eventually approved, apremilast would compete with the injected drug Enbrel, which also targets tumor necrosis factor (TNF) in the body.  Read full story >
