New Melanoma Drug May Shrink Brain Tumors

A small study suggests that a new drug for melanoma may also shrink brain tumors. The study of 10 patients who had brain metastasis of their melanoma found that GSK2118436 shrank nine out of 10 tumors. Experts say they are pushing forward with Phase 3 clinical trails of the drug.
