About Me

Michael Rack, MD is a practicing sleep physician located in Jackson, MS. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, and Sleep Medicine. He is Medical Director of Somnus Sleep Clinic. Dr. Rack is an active member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and currently serves on their Behavioral Sleep Medicine Committee. He is also a site visitor for the Academy; he travels across the country inspecting sleep labs for accreditation.

Dr. Rack enjoys treating the wide range of sleep disorders; one of his areas of expertise is treating sleep disorders in persons with mental retardation. He also enjoys the challenges of treating complex forms of sleep apnea.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rack's interests include finance and investing.
