Oh what a night! - isn't that a song?  I knew about REM and of course light sleep - like what a nap in the afternoon might be, but all this; I had no idea.

 

Thanks for outlining it all for our readers.  I think knowing what goes on while we are asleep might help us to do what we can to increase our sleep success.
