Thanks so much for your post. It does seem that smell can evoke memories of events from years past. You sure have made me curious about the smell versus the taste of coffee. I really like coffee. I like pretty much everything about it. But if I drink too much it sure does wreck havoc with my sleep - just as all the expoert say it will.
So for now I will try the "smell test" to see if I can curb the craving.
