Thanks so much - these are great points to the Feng Shui way of approaching sleep.  I suspect there are many readers out there who practice some if not all the principls of Feng Shui.  Would you like to post a comment to Florence's post?  Maybe someone has tried it, and it hasn' t worked at all.  Let us know what you think.

Also maybe there are other tips like this that people would like to offer to the discussion.  Jump in, we'd love to have you.

For tips on Sleep Hygiene check this out:

    • Establish a regular time for going to bed and getting up in the morning. Stick to this schedule even on weekends and during vacations.
    • Use the bed for sleep and sexual relations only, not for reading, watching television, or working. Excessive time in bed disrupts sleep.
    • Avoid naps, especially in the evening.
    • Exercise before dinner. A low point in energy occurs a few hours after exercise; sleep will then come more easily. Exercising close to bedtime, however, may increase alertness.

You can read our other tips in our material under treatments for sleep disorders.

Hope this helps and all the best, sue
