The controversy continues. Is the use of a cell phone injurious to our health? It does seem, from recent research, that the use of cell phones may disrupt our sleep.

    Thanks for this important information Florence.  I guess as I teenager I remember never wanting to miss anything.  I bet its the same these days only communications with cell phones and computers makes it that much easier to get "in touch" with friends at any time - 24/7. 

     

    I agree parents need to teach children how to shut down in the evenings and practice good sleep hygiene from an early age.  Of course parents also need to be on top of any sleep issues that might be of other causes and make sure insomnia, narcolepsy and even sleep apnea are not at play with their kids.

    Cell phones - not so long ago, they were a novelty item. Now almost everyone has one, even children and, yes, granmothers. I'd be lost without mine. but, like so much in a child/teen's life, use must be monitored and kept within limits.
