What is the difference between free-running circadian rhythm sleep disorder & delayed sleep phase syndrome? I believe I have one of these two disorders. It's hard for me to go to sleep before 2am, and I usually get 4 or 5 hrs of sleep each night, since I need to get up early for work. I am an extremely heavy sleeper and usually can only wake up if I set a super loud alarm clock. From about 8pm till about 1am, when most people start getting tired - I am not sleepy at all. Is there anything you would recommend? I've taken Melatonin before and OTC sleeping pills and they work (somewhat) but I'm interested in a more long-term solution.

Thank you.
