I have had two sleep studies in which I was told that I do not hit REM sleep. They diagnosed sleep apnea and I have worn the face mask for a month with no change. I feel like I am on autopilot. I can maintain daily function with fatigue but my process memory is disturbed. Things like forgeting where I placed objects or forgeting objects completely are serious issues for me. If something is not a routine or if my routine is changed at all, I am incapable of remembering things.
