sleep, diabetes, dementia/Alzheimers, IBS
I am a retired school teacher. I taught grades 2-6 for 34 wonderful years. My health caused me to retire at 54. I miss teaching even now in 2008!
I used to love to read and work in the yard.
I have dementia and have just been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. With determination, I am getting used to my new CPAP machine...most of the time...
I am playing Nintendo's Brain Age and Brain Age 2 every day that I can. I am trying to extend my attention span and maintain my memory. I still drive and take short trips around our town. I depend on lists. I seem to totally ignore my house anymore--as if it (the mess) doesn't exist...so my husband and I have found a wonderful Christian lady to clean the "public" rooms of the house every two weeks.
I try to learn new things and will attempting to work with wood using my new scroll saw...again, this activity should help my attention span.
