    Thanks so much for elaboratin on this question for the rest of our readers.  I think sometimes folks feel really stuck in the cycle they are in and get resigned to things like sleep apnea, chronis pain etc.  Sometimes there are no solutions and it is what it is.  But maybe there are medications not yet tried or alternative therapies that could eleviate, if not solve, a person's problem.  All they have to do is ask!  It is definitely time to be an active participant in your own health care!

  3. Using CPAP for 4 years & still wake up all night, however

    I have used a CPAP for 4 years faithfully and wake up every few minuets without it, hence the faithfulness.  However, even though I use it nightly I wake up much less often but am still waking up through the night many times.  Too many times.  I wake up and fall right back to sleep, wake up and fall right back to sleep.  Why isn't the CPAP only solving a portion of my problem...yes I do have sleep apnea, without it I wake up incessantly...
