Q: oval pill, blank on one side, 516 on the other

label reads zolpidem 10mg but doesn't match the pictures

Hi Lane,

 

Thank you for your question! There is a manufactured form of zolpidem that is a white, oval-shaped tablet with 516 imprinted on one side (blank on the other side). It may be that your pharmacy usually stocks one brand, but their shipment this week was from another manufacturer. This could cause the picture to not match the tablet in the bottle. Good for you for noticing - most people don't pay any attention to that!
