I weigh more and so sometimes I have a hard time falling asleep on the regular dose.  Is it dangerous to increase it by half? (1-1/2 tablets of Lunesta)

Not in the case of Lunesta.  Regardless of your weight, this drug acts directly on receptors in the brain so weight is not of consequence according to an expert that I consulted with.  This may not be the correct drug for you - depending on the type of insomnia you have and the cause - you may benefit from another drug therapy.  Consult with a sleep expert for the best recommendation.
