I'm not a physician, so I don't want to recommend a specific medication, but you might want to consider some non-drug alternatives such as:
Neurofeedback: Simply put, when undergoing neurofeedback therapy you are "training your brain," to do what it's supposed to do, in your case, sleep better. You might find a Neurofeedback Provider here.
Even if you are taking meds. for sleep, I still recommend abdominal breathing which you can read about in these articles:

Breathing Lessons
Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) is also very helpful for sleep.
