I am no expert but my mother (a very wise woman) told me that nightmares/dreams are the way our subconscious processes our everyday stresses and fears. Do you remember the content after you wake up? If so, I would keep a journal about the dream, as well as what was going on in your life at that point in time. Perhaps you will see a pattern or if not you will have documentation to take to your PCP - they will know what type of therapist to refer you to. Good luck, I've been there and it's miserable. Sadah
