whatabout getting up at night and eating, sometimes I don't remember eating?

I get up at least once every night and eat something or I can't go back to sleep, sometimes I am on my feet before I'm awake. Most of the time I remember getting up but sometimes I don't and find half eaten food in my bed. I know my Mom used to get up and eat as well, don't think she took food to bed. I am afraid I could choke. I am not hungry when I go to bed. I have felt very tired my entire life..
