Topics:8 month old sleeping issue

My 8 month old son bedtime is 7pm on the dot he easily goes to sleep in he's own room in he's crib, but he'll wake up around the 8.30ish mark for a bottle feed then we battle to get him to sleep in he's crib. I'll give him a cuddle once hes calms down I'd pop him back in he's bed but he just cries. This issue is easily solved by placing him in our bed he then falls asleep straight away? Sometime I'd pick him up and put him back into he's room which works until he wakes up again at 11.30ish for another feed and then the battle to return to sleep in he's bed. I dont understand why he initally sleeps sooo easily in he's crib but the moment he wakes for a feed its a battle. Any advice thanks

what i do is not pick my son up at all when he wakes up (which is every two hours throughout the night) let him kind of fuss while i get the bottle then come back and give him the bottle and he will drink it and go back to sleep. If he needs a change ill change him in his bed and it seems to work so much! so maybe if you pick him up try not picking him up or even saying anything to him til you come back with the bottle. I dont know if this is or there is a PROPER way to do this, but this is what i do and it keeps him from staying awake for long periods in the night..

Thanks for the suggestion I'll give this a go over several nights to allow him to settle into a pattern. Laughing
