this started when I was a kid and I remember thinking the house was on fire and I was standing up peeing screaming" put the fire out!!! and my mom thought I was awake . Just about a week ago my mom said I came into her room and said I want cotton candy and then I went back to bed... then the first time it happened with my boyfriend he thought I was awake and I do not remember any of this... It just happened again twice last night then he said i punched him in the face... I am scared.

wecome to the club i woke my son at 12am wanting to clean the houe i guess idid some crazy things but sress was my problem i wentn to sleep stressed about my wife coming home and i needed to clean the house my son is 26yrs old and guess i scared him your mind is working overtime when u sleep talk to a doctor

I'm no expert, but it sounds like classic sleepwalking disorder...being as it's a lifelong thing, not likely that it is a drug side effect. DO check into the possibility that there may be an underlying psychiatric problem, maybe caused by childhood trauma ( I had a horrible fear of fire for years, buried an incident where my clothing was set on fire briefly at about age 4). It can be worked around, believe me. I hope this helped.
