Hi,

This sounds to me like something that needs a little investigation. My suggestion is to see your doctor who may want to ask questions about medication, drinking, lifestyle issue, your state of mental health, your routines, etc.

Has anyone commented on your pattern of breathing during the time you are asleep? Do you seem to hold your breath for example, or do you appear to have difficulties breathing, or do you snore loudly? Do you maybe wake up with a headache and dry mouth? If so, you may have sleep apnea.

The point is that your daytime sleepiness is clearly affecting you and needs to be taken seriously. If you let things go, the situation is likely to get worse and may even be dangerous for you.
