Q: I suffer from mild sleep apnae (not treated yet). Can I take Trazodone to sleep better?

Can I take Mirapex too?

both?

 

I need to able to sleep for the next 2 monts until I get the CPAP machine

Thanks for your question marie-claire.  I'm not sure if you mean you have yet to be diagnosed or yet to be treated, but either way you should confirm with your doctor any kind of medication that you are thinking about taking.

 

IN the meantime, read our material on trazodone and mirapex.

 

Trazodone Oral: This medication is used to treat depression. Trazodone works by helping to restore the balance of a certain natural chemical (serotonin) in the brain.

 

Mirapex Oral:  Pramipexole is used alone or with other medications to treat Parkinson's disease. It can improve your ability to move and decrease shakiness (tremor), stiffness, slowed movement, and unsteadiness. It may also decrease the number of episodes of not being able to move ("on-off syndrome").
