Q: In spite of hypothyroidism can I take mild sedative regularly for insomnia ?

There is no contraindication if you are on syntheroid to take a sleep medication but you should get assessed to make sure the low thyroid issues are not contributing to your sleep difficulties and I'd read up on "sleep hygiene" to see if you can avoid meds.
