Hi Saraa
I'm wondering if you have been traumatized. If so, then your violent nightmares may be about the trauma. Trauma comes in many sizes and shapes for each of us. It could be a car accident, the death of a loved one, or some kind of abuse. In any case, if you think you've experienced something that could be showing up in your dreams, then you might talk with a professional for some help. You can find one in your area at Psychology Today.
I hope this helps,
Dr. Diana Walcutt
