Following an angioplasty and stent installation my husband no longer snores. Why?

We have been married 2 1/2 years.  My husband has snored loudly during our entire marriage and his children have told me he has snored loudly for years. He was diagnosed with a minor heart attack which lead to a stent implacement and then a defibillator for pvc's.  Since coming home from the hospital he no longer snores and the sleep apnea is very minor.  We are both sleeping better.

The cardiologist and family doctor have not been able to tell us why he no longer snores.  Is there a connection to the stent implacement?

Thank you.

Not the stent but beta blockers can affect sleep.  Did he lose wwight in the hospital? If so - he may have improved his sleep profile and reduced the obstructive sleep pattern - keep that weight off!!
