Is napping bad for you?

My husband has been experiencing so much fatigue lately that he has taken to napping during the day. At night, however, he's so wide awake that he has to take a Lunesta or Klonopin in order to fall asleep. Does he have a sleep disorder?

Thanks Amanda for your questions.

You really should discuss with your husband's doctor his symptoms in order to get a professional medical opinion.  There could be many reasons for his fatigue.

In the meantime, you may want to read about sleep disorders, napping, and medications.
