Q: Is it safe for a parkinson's patient to use Zolpidem

My brother is an advanced Parkinson's patient - he battles to walk and then a major problem is sleeping.  Im realy worried as one needs sleep, is it safe to have him ask his doctor for Zolpidem?

What you should do is ask your pharmacist if there are any contraindications to that

med and what your other prescriptions are.

Pharmacists have an enormous store of medical information and most times its alot

more than your doctor.
