My baby is gassy, teething and pulls at her ears, doesn't sleep longer than 3 hours sometimes less

My nearly 8 month old baby has never slept through the night, ever. Her routine is all over the place and just when I think it's in a routine she changes it again.

At ther moment, she wakes at 9.30, 10 or 11, when ever I wake up. Has a little nap at 12.30, 1, 2 or 4. Sometimes only for 10 mins, sometimes an hour plus.

Dinner at 5, bath 6, and asleep for 7. I breast feed so she tends to fall asleep on the breast. Sometmes she goes down in her cot and I pat her to sleep. I'm not really consistant with this as she wakes up sooner. She sleeps longer when she's with me so I tend to keep her near for a break. If she wakes up, she normally screams, pulls at her ears and sometimes falls back asleep.

Lately she wakes up at 10pm and is wide awake, when I ignore her she chats away wanting to get up. She usually soils her nappy at this time and needs a change. She then tends to go to bed with us at middnight and wakes through the night not really crying just moves around wanting breast I think every couple of hours. Seems to have a deeper sleep from 5am till 9. Wakes up windy and normally soils her nappy.

Bless her she has bags under her eyes but fights it to the bitter end. Oh and she sleeps in our bed, her cot is in our room, we don't really mind her in our bed.

I'd appreciate any help, thank you

Do you think it may be something you are eating that is making your baby have wind? I have breastfed all four of mine and it still catches me out sometimes. I kept the same routine as you, and from my experience they tend to be quite dependent on breast for comfort in the night all the time you are breast feeding! If she's pulling on her ears it could be her teeth. But it could be worth getting her ears checked out just in case.
