I would call around to the pharmacies in your general neighborhood and do "price comparisons." I'd also ask my doctor if he has resources like a drug representative who can also advise you on some pricing opportunities.
there are some reputable drug websites - you need to see a particular logo or label - Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Site accreditation,
Are you talking about fentanyl??
1. Find out from your pharmacist (I am one, so this is how I have approached it when I had time to help patients) the company that makes all the generics plus the brand.
2. Contact all these companies to see if they have any financial help for you.
I was surprised that even the generic companies have assistance problems. There are
so many patient assistance programs out there, that I find it puzzling when people complain, although, yes, there are acceptions!!!
3. Do you have to use a narcotic patch?? Can your doctor switch you to an oral
narcotic???
