Q: I have lost the ability to naturally fall asleep. Could I have sporadic fatal insomnia?

I have lost the ability to naturally fall asleep. I have had this problem for around a year. Currently I am taking trazodone. However without trazodone, I can't get to sleep, and if I do sleep, I usually awake after 1-2 hours. I fear I may have sporadic fatal insomnia. I am a 30 year old male.
