Q: I've not been sleeping well for the past 2 weeks, and I get tired very quickly, is this normal?

I've been going through a very stressful time, and I think because of this, I don't eat much and I can't sleep properly..I keep waking up every few hours, I've noticed my eyes are getting darker and I'm starting to squint, so I thought I'd seek your advice.

Hi Sybi:

Being stressed is one of the leading causes of problems with sleeping. Eating improperly can do this as well, especially if you are using more caffeine or sugar for energy.

You may want to check with your physician for advice on helping you manage your stress and diet.
