Zolpidm 10mg...need to know if I have the right medicaation

HiI take ambien 10mg. I had it refilled and it looks different than the one I took. It pink and it said a Z on one side and 10mg on the other side. But it doesnt have a number or the name Zodpide or Ambien. So would you be about to tell me if it is a Zodpide?

Yes, unless you have drug allergies to the medication or if your body size is small or petite. Unlike benzodiazepines, this drug is not hypnotic and will less likely be less habit forming. The drug has a side effect though : it leaves you with a bitter after taste when you wake up. The bitterness is not very strong, and compared with a sleepless night or a light sleep, is probably worth taking. Be careful about developing psychological dependence on it though. Our bodies typically form a tolerance to any drug we take, so please stick to 10mg before bedtime. I am an ex-nurse. Just my 10 cents worth.

 

have you tried consulting with a sleep clinic? Sleep problems are usually caused by other reasons, and medication is more of a 'band aid' solution because it treats the symptom rather than the root cause. Please to see a sleep clinic physician.
