Monday, March 29, 2010 Mr. Misery asks

Q: kept waking up by gas reflux while having a cold.

I have been having this problem for the past 8 years or so every time I have a simple cold or flu. I told the doctors about the symtoms and they did not seem to understand. It is torturous. I am hoping someone else out there had the same expereience and had found a cure for it and can help me.

When I have a cold, even just a small and simple one, I always got woken up by a cough from a gush of gas coming from my diapham right when I was about to fall asleep. It happened all night to the point that it kept me up all night ( not able to sleep at all). It made me so miserable and developed anxiety for being sick. I am afraid of being sick now, even just having a small cold. By the way, I can not take any cold medications because I have strong reaction to the ingredients that will keep me awake for days, literally.

If you know what I am talking about, please tell me your experience and if you were cured, please tell me how. Appreciate your responses.
