Friday, January 30, 2009 Wake up ... pls? asks

Q: Unable to wake up every morning.

I work 7a - 530p and have a normal life.  My problem is that I am unable to wake up in the mornings and now, its affected my job and my employers confidence in me.  Why can I NOT wake up (even w/an alarm).  I live alone so if the alarm is not going to help me, what can?  What's wrong w/me?

you should go to your doctor and ask if they can help. i have the exact same problem, except mine is paired with severe depression and insomnia. you might find out that you have other sources to your problem if you visit your doctor. could be something that has to do with vitamin deficiency or something, i'm also severely anemic [iron deficient] and while i know it greatly affects energy levels, i'm not sure if it affects waking up in the morning.

hope this helped!
