Is it possible my sleep disorder is actually a need for nasal decongestants every night?

I seem to sleep much better (because I can actually breath) after taking a good decongestant such as pseudoephedrine a couple hours before going to bed at night.  Otherwise I have really bad apnea and a couple of times woke up after losing my breath scaring me and my wife.  I have...
