im taking zolpidem tartrate before can switch it to melatonin?

I've been using Zolpidem tartrate for a year now, i used it in the morning, afternoon and evening and I decided to stop or switch to some medicine that wont harm my body, cause, I know that Zolpidem has withdrawal side effect and I've been through that for 3 times, and dont want it to happen again, cause, I'm a mother of 3 kids, can I switch to melatonin, because in zolpidem, I already taking higher dosage like 30mg, 3 times for a day, please help me....Thanks and God bless.
